This past Saturday we had an amazingly warm Autumn morning and so off to the beach we went, the water was a little chilly but we soon got used to it the crisp, clear and smooth ocean water.![]()
Not pictured however because we were just having too much fun is three friends, all now moms and who all went to High School together, enjoying an ocean swim, Tanusha, Pax and myself had so much fun wave after wave while my mom-in-law watched the littles as they played in the sand. I honestly wish we had a picture to capture the memory, it had been so long since either of us had been for a swim in the sea and a first for all three doing so together as well. A sweet memory I will cherish.![]()

Friendships as adults are sometimes hard to maintain and to make time for because we all have our own families and life just gets so busy, but more so is how rare high school friendships last into adulthood, there have even been periods when we drifted but I feel like we came back stronger. That and losing a very close friendship not so long ago has made me appreciate these two special friends of mine, my besties for more than 20years, more and more. Friends who are my sisters and aunties to my children and whose children I love as my own. ![]()
